He was arrested and put behind bars on fraud charges, but the homeowner's know they will never see their money. Unfortunately Robert Sykes who owned 3 businesses before getting a job with Brickman Landscaping Company, was able to rip off customers and businesses for nearly $100,000 and never face any criminal charges regarding the debt. Rob Sykes ended up filing bankruptcy and his customers and suppliers were never able to collect their money.
In a FOURTH WRAL story, Raleigh fence company ended up taking more than $11,000 from customers. He then went out of business and gave/sold his website to Harrison Fence Company.
In a FIFTH WRAL story, a contractor stole $100,000 in deposits from customers.
