Raleigh Fence Contractors Friday Home Improvement Link:
It’s already Friday again, that means it is time for Raleigh Fence Contractors to Highlight another home improvement blog.
As I went through my Google Reader this morning, I noticed I had been neglecting it. I hadn’t been in the reader in a few days and had stacked up quite a large amount of feeds. The local ones I like include feeds like Take a Peck, and North Hills Buzz (I live north of North Hills, but I like to keep up with locals), and then there is 30threads, I will have to write another time about Ginny and Wayne over at 30threads, but if you live in Raleigh, you need to check out that site.
One of my favorites lately to read about home improvement is One Project Closer. They have so many DIY articles, I didn’t have time to go backwards and tell you about them, but some of my favorites include: Installing a Toilet on Hardwood Floors, Ryobi Grinder Review (who doesn’t love a good tool review?), and now One Project Closer is even having a tool giveaway! How awesome is that!
So, If you are into DIY stuff, and you haven’t checked out One Project Closer, you should, I promise you you won’t be disappointed.
Make sure when you read these blogs, local or not, you comment on them, as a blogger myself, getting relevant comments and questions from readers is probably as exciting as hitting a really high traffic post, so participate, ask questions, contribute to the conversation.
Enjoy,
Keith Bloemendaal

Many local cities and counties have rebates on low flow toilets.
Home owners should check if these are available within their own community before purchasing any toilet these days. The vendor from whom we purchased 3 low flow toilets last year did not tell us that we could have received over $150 had we first registered for an energy audit prior the the toilet purchase; he was likely afraid that had we known we would have delayed our purchase and then, after having the energy audit completed would have purchased the toilets elsewhere.

Keith, Thanks for the shout-out. And I totally agree about comments. It’s always nice when someone throws their two cents in.

Dan,
Thanks for the extra tip on low flow toilets, and I really like your site too, and I subscribe. So we will be sure to mention your blog on a future post.
Ethan,
Thanks for writing great content, and including good pics, and even vids!
